Is this the correct way to mod a Corona 250gb?
Hi,
Could somebody please just check that I have got the procedure correct to flash a Corona 250gb...
01) Bridge points for slim on squirt360, and bridge 220pf points.
02) Solder chip to board (cpu_rst, post, gnd, vcc, scl, sda).
03) Route cpu_rst according to photo, use a 55cm (awg24) wire.
04) Solder SPI points to allow onboard flashing (sd0, sck, gpio1, gpio0, sdi, cs).
05) Connect (Squirt) SPI flasher via ribbon cable.
06) Plug in power to 360.
07) Flash Correct .xvf to squirt360 chip (using autogg).
08) Read nand (using autogg).
09) Create NandXell (using autogg).
10) Flash NandXell (using autogg).
11) Boot console and grab key via http, because screen does'nt display with Corona).
12) Create nand image by using key and choosing dash (using autogg).
13) Flash image (using autogg).
If I have left something out or wrong, please post...
Thanks.

RGH in XBOX Slim Trinity
Hi guys
I have installed a squirt in a xbox slim (trinity) but i dont get the xell. I am not sure if I have done it properly. Here is a pic:
http://i1099.photobucket.com/albums/...07F3BD7A37.jpg
But I have some issues:
- Led should blink? It is always turned on
- There are 4 timmings for Trinity, What do I have to choose?
- The diagram says that you have to bridge VCC and Pad3, should I do it?
Thanks in advance

Squirt rev B
Hi everybody,
I noticed that during breaking the PCB panels of Rev B, the copper may or may not be "wide" enough (as in the distance between the pads and edges).
The consequence of this is minimal: the lower GND pad (near the LPT pads) is weakened and doesn't provide strong enough ground route to the others. From my observations, I've seen something around 5 ohm on average.
However, I have had one falcon that never glitched whatsoever. So I connected one of the other GND pads (the one next to VCC) and it's all good now.
Cheers

NE555 selfmade squirt smc reset
hey guys.
i want to make my own smc reset for squirt, because i dont like QSB and for me it cost under 1€ when im make it self :p
here is the wiring diagram that i make.
![]()
but i need to know the size for C1 and R1 in my diagram(C2 is 10 nF), that is on the qsb nand pcb. can anyone with it, grab a multimeter and look what size the C1, C2 and R1 have? :)
and the voltage, i think it becomes 3.3V, but in datasheet there is a MIN. voltage from 4.5V? it will work corectly with 3.3V?
the IC become from the sync button a low signal(0V), and goes to squirt also a low signal oder a high signal when sync button is pressed?
thanks for help:D
EDIT: the NE7555 cmos version works with min. 3V but is the NE555 on the pcb? because the 4.5V min. :/

Problem Slim trinity ... Xell reloaded don't work.
Hi, first, sry for my bad english.
I have solder a 360 squirt BGA 1.2 on my slim trinity (13599)
I solder all for SPI and RGH, look my picture. I have put 2 wires for GND, VCC, and make a bridge with punt 4 and VCC (cause i don't use second nand), i bridge too 220pF
for the RGH, i used CPU_RST (not cpu_rst_r)
With URJTAG.exe, i programmed the chip with a SVF... (i take trinity_bga_alwayson_120522_1450.svf) IT'S GOOD ??? OR I NEED TO TAKE AN OTHER ???
after, i used squirter.exe and dump my nand (PC->USB->programmer squirt->FLAT->360 squirt->SPI motherboard). So here, i have a strange problem. squirter tell me : bad connection to nand a lot (maybe 8,10 times) and after dump my nand O_o!! same problem for second dump.... So i have make 5 dump and use a compare nand to check that. NO ONE was the same !!! omg... So i tell me : F***ing wires !! i put out all SPI wires of the 360 squirt and use directly the programmer to dump (PC->USB->programmer squirt->SPI motherboard) and this times, it's works PERFECTLY, Nand respond directly, i dump 5x and all was the same.
So, i decide to create the ECC, and I flashed it using squirter.exe
Writing was ok. So i turning on the xbox360 (HDMI cable used to tv, not rgb). The 360 squirt led turning on and off normally (i think it s good) and the led of the front ring turning off and on very quickly (i saw on a youtube video that it's normal) but i m waiting more than 2 minutes and nothing...
After that, I have changed the SVF, with trinity_bga_120305_1226.svf, i have too used cpu_rst_r, i have "double" all my wires, i redid again the ECC and reflash, nothing happens... Xell reloaded don't appears...
PLEASE HELP ME. someone have an idea ? Someone can tell what the good setting ?
Which SVF ? Which cpu_rst ? Which lenght of wires for cpu_rst ? Which pF for resistor ? bridge Punt 4 and Vcc is ok ???
PLEASEEEEEEE :'(

Squirt Dual NAND - second nand don't work
Hello every one.
I have trouble applying second nand. First I install RGH hack with squirt BGA. Then decide to make it dual nand. I have install all the wires, but every time when I try to program the secandary NAND it seemd to program the original one.
Here are pictures from the installation :

Size: 96.3 KB]()
I try the two options - one if the secondary nand is empty and the other when it is previously flashed :
FIRST TIME NAND READING (your secondary NAND is empty):
- To enable the SECONDARY reading/writting (RGH ON):
> Disconnect the power cable of your console
> Press the SYNC BUTTON and re-connect the power cable.
> Release the SYNC BUTTON and power on the console with power button...
the fun will start very fast... Turn off again the console
> Start the writting / reading of secondary nand
READING / WRITTING NANDS when FREEBOOT is already installed on SECONDARY NAND:
- To enable the reading / writting of SECONDARY nand (RGH ON):
> disconnect and re-connect the power of your console
> start reading / writting of the original NAND.
But nothing worked every time I flashed the original one.
Am I missing something. The chip is flashed with SQUIRT__Corona_minusone_nr.svf. Do I need to use other file, or update the beetstream?
If some one can help I will be grateful.

Programming the chip
I hope this is the right section...
So first off, I live in Canada. I've thought about getting the programmer but can't find any Canadian retailers and shipping comes out to an extra $30 on top of the already $25 cost. I'm looking into finding alternatives that are Canadian based which wouldn't cost as much for shipping.
I also have NO soldering skill so that's out of question.

Couple of Q's regarding Corona
Ok successfully installed my first Squirt360 1.2 (Black pcb) all working fine and having been a TX user for a long time it is so much easier to have everything all in one and leave it all installed.
1, Glitch times, averaging around 20-30 seconds but occasionally hits around a minute, is it worth playing around to lessen the boot times or are they decent times for a corona? (using minusone)
2, Cable from the chip to the programmer, I have left installed and rerouted through the hdd bay (fits nice n snug with hdd installed), will there be any problem with this or is there a better route?
Also as per Q2 what would be best are to route cable in a phat?
Thanks in advance
